End User License Agreement for Zen & Mind App iOS applications.

Please read these Terms of Use / End User License Agreement (“Terms”) carefully before using any application published by Zen & Mind App (“Licensor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including Shadow Work Journal: Sanctuary (the “App”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, or redistribute the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Certain features may require a subscription. All transactions are processed through Apple’s App Store. Payment, billing, renewal, and refund policies are governed by Apple’s terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your Apple ID account settings.

Free-tier limits (such as a limited number of writes before a paywall) are described in the App and on the App Store product page. Reading previously saved entries in your Journey vault remains available without a subscription unless otherwise stated in the App.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App. You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of storing or sharing it. We do not claim ownership of your journal entries or personal reflections.

6. Wellness Disclaimer

The App is provided for personal reflection and general wellness purposes only. It does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is not a substitute for professional mental health care. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical or mental health condition. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, text, and software, is owned by Zen & Mind App and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZEN & MIND APP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may terminate or suspend your license at any time if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

11. Apple-Specific Terms

This App is licensed through Apple’s App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zen & Mind App is established, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.

13. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last Updated” date.
